  • Diplomas and school records for degree validation
  • Corporate documents and powers of attorney for companies

Questions about the apostille for Colombia

Can I do everything from Colombia, without traveling?+

Yes. The notarization is by video call and I handle the apostille in Tallahassee. You send the document and receive it back with tracked shipping.

Does this work for selling a property in Colombia?+

Yes. Florida powers of attorney are among the most apostilled documents for Colombia. I will guide you on how to structure the document so the receiving notary or entity accepts it without objections.

My birth certificate is from another US state, not Florida. Now what?+

Each state apostilles its own documents: a Texas birth certificate is apostilled in Texas, not Florida. If the document was notarized before a Florida notary, I can apostille it in Tallahassee. Message me and I will confirm the right path.

Does Colombia accept a Florida remote online notarization?+

Yes. The notarization is performed by a Florida notary under Chapter 117 of the Florida Statutes over secure video, and the Florida Department of State apostille makes it valid in Colombia. Both countries are parties to the 1961 Hague Convention, so no visit to a Colombian consulate is needed.
